Who we are

Berkana A.R, Straatnaam 1, 9700 AA Groningen, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 00000000, is responsible for processing personal data as described here. You can reach us at info@berkana.example or +31 50 000 0000.

What we process

When you contact us through the form, by email or by phone, we process your name, phone number and/or email address, your town and what you tell us about your project. For a quote or an order we also need your address and, for the invoice, payment details.

Why we use it

We use your data to answer your question, prepare a quote, carry out the work and invoice it. The legal basis is taking steps before a contract and performing the contract (GDPR article 6(1)(b)). We keep invoice data because the law requires it (GDPR article 6(1)(c)).

How long we keep it

Data from enquiries that do not lead to an order is deleted no later than twelve months after our last contact. Data from orders is kept for seven years because of the Dutch tax retention requirement.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We only share it with parties we need for our work, such as our accountant and our email and website providers, and only when the job requires it. We have agreements with them about keeping your data secure.

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking services. See our cookie statement.

Your rights

You have the right to see, correct or delete your data, to object to its use and to receive a copy. Email info@berkana.example and we will respond within four weeks.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
