Bathrooms built to measurein Groningen.
Our own team does everything from strip-out to the final silicone line: plumbing, waterproofing, tiling and fitting. You get a fixed price before we start.
Six bathrooms we built
Marble-effect tile, walnut and copper come back in almost every project. Swipe or drag through the projects, or click a photo to see the whole room.
Master bathroom
The whole room was stripped and rebuilt. Large-format marble-effect tiles run floor to ceiling, with a freestanding bath against a stacked natural-stone wall under the window.
Twin vanity
A floating vanity and tall unit in fluted walnut carry two stone basins. Brushed copper taps come straight out of the wall, with indirect lighting behind the mirror.
Walk-in shower
A walk-in shower behind a single glass panel, with a rain head and brushed-gold thermostat. The toilet hangs in front of a concealed cistern finished in the same tile.
Guest WC
A narrow WC with a matte black wall-hung toilet and a black basin on a walnut cabinet. A tiled niche above the cistern adds storage without a cupboard.
Window wall
Where the window breaks the tiled wall, we finished the sill and reveal in stacked natural stone. It meets the marble-effect tiles without an edge trim.
Powder room
A compact vanity in fluted walnut with a tall copper tap and a black basin. It fits a space less than a metre wide.
Marble, walnut & copper
A full master bathroom rebuilt from the floor up. Large-format marble-effect porcelain runs floor to ceiling, a fluted walnut tall unit and floating vanity carry twin stone basins, and brushed copper taps come straight out of the wall.

Handover

From Groningen,for the North.
Berkana is a bathroom company from Groningen, founded in 2024. We work in the city and across the provinces of Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe.
We know the houses here. A townhouse in the Oosterpoort, a 1930s home in Helpman or a new build in Meerstad: each one needs a different approach to pipes, floors and ventilation, and we plan for that from the first visit.
We keep the team small and take on a limited number of projects at a time, so every joint, every fall and every detail gets the attention it deserves.
